Since you will have to consider data analysis, design and storytelling to construct your infographic, forming teams with diverse skillsets is recommended. Description of an infographicĪn infographic uses a 2D static graphic format to transform information and data into a visual story that is easy to understand. The winner will receive the Chief Statistician of Canada Infographic Award. Your infographic can be on any topic of your choice, and you can use data from CANSIM (Statistics Canada's key socioeconomic database), the Census Program or any other StatCan product.
